When I walk down the street to go grocery shopping I get the feeling that leaving things where they fall off your hands is the new national sport. People throw everything on the pavement, from cigarettes to candy wrappers and orange peels. This especially appears to be the case if there is a trash can within five meters. Somehow it seems to double the excitement to just go ahead and trash it. Maybe its only our german heritage complaining about the messiness... what do you think?
