Shot in the morning of the third day of our Transalp, this shows the famous Seiser Alm, Europe's highest plateau. The peaks to the left are the Langkofel and Plattkofel (Sasso Lungo and Sasso Piatto).
One of the challenges of photographing on trips like a Transalp is that you have little time (usually still lots of ground to cover) and you got to work with the light available at the moment. It's shoot quick and hope for the best. I am happy with this particular picture, but with a bit more time I probably would have looked for a position that also would've revealed the impressive Schlern massif (Sciliar), to the far right.
Happy new year to all of you!
