First of a series of selected shots I took on our mountainbike trip over the Alps back in August.
The route we planed consisted of a six day ride from near Innsbruck (Austria) to Trentino (Italy) and covered varied terrain (ranging from easy trails to "ways" resembling dry streambeds requiring one to carry the bike upward 25%+ slopes), a few passes and lots of height meters. All in all the trip went well, we got lucky with the wheather (except maybe the last day), and our condition was just enough for us to make it.
I took this picture near Steinach, our starting point, just after we tasted first sweat on the first slope.
Besides this more natural version Ella has processed an alternate one with a more
artistic approach.
Oh, and yes, this is the first post in a very long time. I expect us to get back posting more regularly again.
