This one was shot by Steffi, a colleague from Stuttgart Media University. This picture is part of a project for her audiovisual media course. Last Saturday we went photographing together for an afternoon on some locations, including a junkyard (seen in our last three pictures) and this legal graffiti hall of fame under a highly trafficed bridge.
PS: Thanks to everyone who cast their vote on this pic at Photofridays 'Adolescence' challenge!
Steffi: Nice urban photo; I love the unbalanced feel here. It gives off a quick documentary shot. Nice color tones; I feel like I'm there. Regards, Brent Brent Vermilyea @ 2006-April-5 13:56
I have a bit of a feeling of an underworld here. Wim van der Meij @ 2006-April-5 15:17
Fully agree with Steffi, this shot work so well with odd angle. Great Mal @ 2006-April-5 21:01
Great angle. I like how each part of the picture is isolated so it stands out on its own (the spraycans, wall, lone drinker, and the group) but they still all tie back into the picture as a whole. very nice. Tuffer @ 2006-April-7 16:58
I Love this one, the tilted angle is working like a charm and I love the roof perspective that guide us to the group. There is artists, paint, a camera and some beer ... this must have been a lovely afternoon :) Julien @ 2006-April-11 02:51
Well, we don't know these people, but they sure seemed to have a nice afternoon. Later Steffi returned to the same place to take some more pictures, and the sprayer that was then present apparently got really nervous 'bout the pictures being taken from him, though at this location spraying is legal ;) sknop @ 2006-April-11 09:57
