Thanks to all who sent us messages asking whats happening and what this absence is all about. I'm glad to tell you that we're fine, but busy and lacking inspiration. I could go on why that is so, but more important is that we're trying to overcome that stasis. We're neither giving up photobloging nor photography! ;-)
Most of the few pictures I took over the last three months are crap, but once in a while I come up with something I consider worth posting. We aren't sure if the problem are the pix or rather us as our own worst critics, too easily tearing each pic apart...
Yeah, this one's another bike, I recon ;) It appears to have been pulled out of the lake behind it (one of those pix where higher res would reveal more nice details, IMO).
We all go through slumps, just get out there & keep on shooting and try not to be too hard on yourselves. Try something new (outside your comfort zone), try just using one prime lens for a week, anything to make you re-think what you are doing, you'll find the creative juices start flowing again.
Oh and as to this pic, I like it, the dappled light is nice against the autumn colours. Neil @ 2006-October-23 18:46
Sehr gute Belichtung. Uwe @ 2006-October-23 20:09
Good to see somethng new from you. I like the dappled light in this shot. Really nice. Heath @ 2006-October-23 21:27
the old bike has heaps of character and you have composed the image well :) david kleinert @ 2006-October-24 09:45
Nice colors, interesting lights and shadows, fine picture! alf @ 2006-October-24 18:58
Welcome back! It's great to hear you've no desire to abandon your blogging ways.
Creative dips are terrile. I think I was just in one, or perhaps still am. Anyway, it's great to see, and hear you've pushed on through.
It would be funny if the bike was chained to the tree! ; ) percy @ 2006-October-24 22:52
This is one of those images where everything blends so well - even the bike has adopted autumn colors . . . AG @ 2006-October-25 09:18
