Great light. Good spotting and capture. :) Otto K. @ 2006-May-11 15:27
I like the way the limited dof creates all those circles in the immediate foreground. Very cool lighting. I wonder how a more aggressive crop of just the seat rails would look. Justin Gallagher @ 2006-May-11 16:09
I like it a lot. Were you inspired by this shot?

Oh my!! Excellent abstract, what an eye! I love how you included the sun in the background. micki @ 2006-May-11 16:17
I imagine you would have little time from observing this to doing something about it so the result is extra impressive. That seat becomes a work of art when viewed like that and the DOF effects and the break in the seat itself all add to the illusion. Clever stuff. AG @ 2006-May-11 16:31
really lovely.. i looked at this one for quite some time schmee @ 2006-May-11 16:32
gorgeous. Very real - I feel like i'm right on that seat, tracing the play of reflected light as I follow the lines with my eyes. chris @ 2006-May-11 16:49
Love this - excellent lines, colour & DOF! Phil @ 2006-May-11 19:24
This one is really great!
I like angle and the light. Erik @ 2006-May-11 21:50

The resulting circular reflections of light are they small lens/iris flares or are they actually part of this bench?
The effect given from those is very graphical and an excellent contrast of metal and light. The intermittent space of black between the bench rails also have a fantastic imapctual appeal that seemingly tries to dominate/compete for equality in that area of the bench but is overwhelmed by the stronger rails with the circles. ndiginiz @ 2006-May-11 22:42
Wow, you captured just beautifully the sweep of a chair back bathed in gold. fotojo @ 2006-May-12 08:17
